• Sony Features—In
the past decade, the use of CCTV has grown to unprecedented
levels. Sony Security Systems has all the products and
features expected from an industry leader combined with
technological innovations. Such features and technology
include:
• SuperExwave™ CCD Technology—Sony
cameras that incorporate SuperExwave technology achieve
extremely high sensitivity levels especially in the
near infrared wavelength region of the electromagnetic
spectrum. This CCD technology has 10% better sensitivity
in a visible light range and 50% better response in
the near IR range compared to the Exwave CCD technology.
• DynaView™ Technology—DynaView
technology achieves an incredible dynamic range that
is 128 times wider than conventional cameras. Users
can capture clear images even in extreme high-contrast
lighting environments. In DynaView mode, the camera
captures the same image twice-first with a normal shutter
speed, and then with a high shutter speed. The images
are then combined to create 1 image.
• Auto Tracing White (ATW)—ATW
is a feature that automatically adjusts the camera white
balance in accordance with any changes in the lighting
conditions and different illuminants. This ensures that
the images with an appropriate color are always obtained.
Sony cameras have a wide ATW range of 2000° to 10,000°
Kelvin.
• CCD Iris—The CCD Iris
function allows the use of a manual iris lens instead
of a more costly automatic iris lens. As the image brightness
increases, the camera adjusts the exposure by automatically
reducing the CCD photo sensor's exposure time.
• Turbo AGC—The Turbo AGC
function allows users to boost the camera's gain up
to 24 dB, enabling viewers of the image to distinguish
the subject more easily in low light.
